What we collect

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request, to keep the site secure and working.
• Emails you send us. If you email us, including a message built with our contact tool, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include.
• Local preferences. Your browser may store your cookie preference on your device. See our Cookies page.

The contact message builder runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into it is transmitted to us unless you choose to send it by email.

Why we process it

We process server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure website, and correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interest in replying to your questions. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept for up to 30 days. Email correspondence is kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers needed to run the site and our email, such as our hosting and email providers, under appropriate data processing agreements. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on recognised safeguards.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and request data portability. Email us to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
